Edward’s public speaking engagements have included talks for many private groups, clubs and corporate events. For ten years, he led many popular and sold seminars for Roundtable Cultural Seminars in NYC on topics ranging from Leonard Bernstein to the Beatles. He is currently a lecturer at The Juilliard School where he focuses on the history, craft and business of songs from the worlds of Broadway, pop and Hollywood.
In early 2022, Edward became a lecturer at The Juilliard School in NYC, teaching both online and in-person courses through the school’s popular Extension Division. Course topics range from songs from the Great American Songbook to Stephen Sondheim to pop music of the 1960s.
Songbook Station is the Youtube channel showcasing Edward’s original video video explorations of songs from the worlds of Broadway, Hollywood films and American pop music. Launched with a 17 minute video about Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim’s iconic song “Somewhere” from West Side Story, Songbook Station has amassed over 100,000 views and 1,500 subscribers.
