Sessions examine how and why each song was written, the lives of the song’s creators, the technical elements which make each song so great, and a behind-the-scenes look at the commercial side of each song’s production. Using specially created media, vintage and contemporary recordings, film and video, classes are designed to enrich the understanding of these masterworks and the extraordinary level of craft, influence and popularity each achieved.
